As we all know, Iran and the P5+1 have reached an agreement in Vienna that will, if not torpedoed by the Iranian Parliament or the US Congress, result in vastly relaxed restrictions on commercial transactions between Americans and Iranians.  While this would be boon for US exporters, we should all be writing our representatives in support of the agreement because – if it craters due to American action – the extraordinary alliance that enacted embargoes strong enough to bring Iran to the nuclear bargaining table will surely crumble.

And Iran will be free to make the world much less safe.
